Sharing’s of Two-Day Deep Focus Program at Aalam School, Kalapatti – Organized by Ananda Chaitanya Foundation

The following sharings are reflections from participants in the Aalam School Deep Focus Program held on May 30 & 31,2025. This program is designed to nurture concentration, inner clarity, and self-awareness through simple yet powerful practices rooted in ancient wisdom. Each sharing reflects a unique journey of discovery, discipline, and growth.

We thank the Manangment of Aalam school who also participated int he program for creating a path of inner peace and bliss for all its members .


Dear Senthil Sir,
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the transformative experience I had during the Deep Focus program. It was truly an eye-opener and an incredibly experiential journey.

One of the most valuable insights I gained was the importance of understanding and managing my energy. Learning how our consciousness and awareness shape our experiences has helped me see the importance of directing my energy toward the things that truly matter in life. I’ve come to realize how crucial it is to move away from negativity and instead focus on what uplifts and empowers me.

The program also taught me the significance of celebrating life in the present moment—no longer waiting for the “right” time to be happy. I now understand that the key to my happiness lies within me, and that being aware of my emotions and understanding where they are leading me is essential to my well-being.

The tools and techniques shared during the sessions are already making a difference in how I approach daily life, and I am confident they will continue to improve the overall quality of my life.

Thank you once again for guiding us with such clarity and depth. It was a meaningful and enriching experience.

This session really touched something within me. I felt so connected to the idea of being fully present and simply embracing each moment as it comes. Deep focus program has made an impact in my daily life.Three take aways that I have been practising since the commencement of the program is –

1.One task at a time

2.Say no to multi tasking

3.Do not give the key to your happiness into others hands.

My mind has relatively been calmer since I am not thinking of too many things at the same time and have been living in the moment trying to enjoy the little joys of life.

Through this deep focus class, i found the breathing exercise was very beneficial for my health and especially helpful in relieving my headaches.I thought i had been doing multitasking for the past few years, but through this class i undertstood what i am doing is multiple tasking and this understanding has really helped me.

The Deep Focus session was genuinely eye-opening. It reminded me of things I already knew deep down but often forget in the rush of daily life. What stood out the most was the importance of being fully present-living in the moment and giving undivided attention to whatever I’m doing. That really stayed with me.

One moment that had a deep impact on me was when I asked you a personal question, how to deal with the pain caused by someone. The way you responded was something I had never heard before: not to forget or suppress, but to accept and move on. You said that some pain is inevitable, and that really shifted something in me. It wasn’t the usual advice, and while it’s not easy, it felt real.

The deep focus session was useful for me in various aspects. I’ve understood the intricate relationship between mind and body. I had a unique and enriching experience over the past two days. For a change, I spent meaningful time focusing entirely on myself. During these sessions, I learned how to maintain emotional balance and develop deep focus and concentration. I was reminded that the present moment is truly all we have—and it’s essential to make the most of it.

I gained valuable insights into the difference between multitasking and handling multiple tasks efficiently. I also learnt meditation, practical exercises and yogasana that are particularly helpful for managing back pain.

One of the key takeaways for me was the importance of prioritizing tasks based on what truly needs attention first.

Through the session regarding “Deep Focus”, I was able to understand the human ability to be aware of one’s inner self and the means of making it possible.

I also understood that the breathing is directly related to the emotions we feel and it can be regulated with the pranayamas that we practiced today.

The ideas of being present at the moment and being mindful of what is happening right now rather than past or future thoughts was something that resonated with me a lot.

The power to harness our awareness lies within ourself. Therefore, I learnt to use the “shakti” for all the positive things in life.

Not only these, but I was able to know a lot of things about myself after the session and to use the invaluable tools to attain deep focus.
