KARKAI NANDRE- EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Vision:

• Any child who is capable and yearns for  higher education should get an equal opportunity. Education shall not be denied to because of his economic or family or any other life situation. With this sole purpose the “Karkai Nandre” Project  focuses on providing higher education after school studies for the eligible students. 

Eligibility for the scholarship:

• Students in poor economic status / with single parent / without any guardianship yet excel in academic, who could not pursue higher education due to financial and family situations. 
• Students who are completing +2 or 10th standard with minimum 80 % marks who want to join College studies (medical/engineering/arts/science or commerce studies etc., or Polytechnic) can apply for this scholarship. 
• Those who are already in college but struggling to continue due to financial conditions also can apply with their details.
• Students living with single parent or without both parents will be given priority

Selection process:

An evaluation Committee of the foundation applies five step course to select a suitable student.

• Marks and details verification: Confirmation of details in the application form via telephone.
• Written test: Written test that reveals the thinking and expressing ability of the student . The Test questions are given when they apply for scholarship online itself. They have a time frame of 5 days to complete the test. 
• Personal interview: Personal interview will take place in candidates school or at foundation office. 
• Personal talent analysis: Unique talents and skills such as drawing, speech, singing or sports, of the student will also be considered apart from academic Marks he has scored.
• Home Visit: The selection committee will visit students home, interact with family to understand his living condition better.

Scholarship Support:

• Selected students might be given full scholarship to pursue college education or part of tuition fee till he/she completes the college depending on the individual student’s situation. It is essential for the student to score good marks to retain the scholarship.

2. Finesse in activity 

3. Great thirst and love in education 

4. Clarity or confusion on what to do in future

5. Any one Specific talent 

6. Clarity in thoughts and speech 

Support mechanism:

• The foundation will support the student in skill development apart from monetary scholarship until he lands in a job. Students will be taught yoga, supported in enhancing their personal skills, book reading will be encouraged with experts in the respective fields.

கற்கை நன்றே – கல்வி உதவித் தொகை திட்டம்

1. பயனாளிகள் யார்?

• நன்கு படிக்கக் கூடிய, திறமையான, பொருளாதாரத்தில் பின்தங்கியுள்ள, அல்லது ஆதரவற்ற ஏழை மாணவர்கள். தற்போது 10 வது மற்றும் 12 வது படிப்பவர்கள். பத்தாம் வகுப்பிலிருந்து Diploma / ITI அல்லது 12ம் வகுப்பிலிருந்து பொறியியல் / மருத்துவம் / கலை / அறிவியல் படிக்க இருப்பவர்கள். தற்போது கல்லூரிப்  படிப்பை பொருளாதார சூழ்நிலை காரணமாக தொடர முடியாத மாணவர்கள்.

2. எப்படி விண்ணப்பது?

3. மாணவர்கள் எப்படி தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்?

• ஐந்து படிகள் கொண்ட தேர்வு முறையைப் பயன்படுத்தி அறக்கட்டளையின் தேர்வுக் குழு மாணவர்களைத் தேர்வு செய்யும்.

• a. விண்ணப்படிவத்தின் தகவல்களை தொலைபேசி உரையாடல் வாயிலாக உறுதி செய்தல்.
• b. எழுத்துத் தேர்வு – மாணவர்களின் சிந்தனைத் திறனை வெளிக்கொணரும் எழுத்துத் தேர்வு அவர்கள் வீட்டிலிருந்தே எழுதி whatsapp மூலம் அனுப்பலாம். 5 நாட்கள் அவகாசம் தரப்படும்.
• c. நேர்முகத் தேர்வு – அறக்கட்டளை அலுவலகத்திலோ அவர்கள் பள்ளியிலோ நடைபெறும்.
• d. Home Visit – தேர்வுக் குழுவினர் மாணவர் வாழும் இடத்துக்கு சென்று அவர் குடும்பத்தை சந்தித்து உரையாடுதல்.
• e. தனித்திறமை ஆய்வு – மாணவரின் மதிப்பெண் மட்டுமின்றி அவரின் குறிப்பிட்ட தனித்திறமையை ஆய்வு செய்து அதனையும் கவனித்து தேர்வு செய்யப்படும்.

4. என்ன விதமான கல்வி உதவிகள் தரப்படும்?

• தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப் படும் மாணவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் கல்லூரியில் பயில கல்விக் கட்டணம் முழுவதுமாகவோ அல்லது ஒரு  பகுதியோ அறக்கட்டளை அவர் மேற்படிப்பை முடிக்கும் வரை வழங்கும். மாணவர் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் அவர் கல்லூரி தேர்வுகளில்  சிறந்த மதிப்பெண் பெறுவது அவசியம்.

5. அறக்கட்டளையின் கற்கை நன்றே திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம் என்ன?

• பொருளாதார சூழலினாலோ வாழ்க்கைச்  சூழலினாலோ அல்லது எந்த காரணத்தினாலும் திறமையும் ஆர்வமும் கொண்ட மாணவர்கள் பின் தங்கிவிடக்கூடாது. அவர்களுக்கு வளர ஒரு வாய்ப்பு உருவாக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதே இதன் நோக்கம்.

6. கல்வி உதவி பெற மாணவரின் அடிப்படைத் தகுதிகள் என்ன?

• வாழ்வில் முன்னேற வேண்டும் என்கிற தீவிரம். 
• செய்யும் செயலில் நேர்த்தி.
• கல்வியில் தணியாத தாகம்.
• எதிர்காலத்தில் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்கிற தெளிவு அல்லது பெருங் குழப்பம்.
• ஏதேனும் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட திறமை.
• வாக்கினில் தெளிவு.

7. தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு என்ன விதமான ஆதரவு தரப்படும் ?

• கல்வித் தொகை மட்டுமன்றி அவர் படிப்பை முடித்து ஒரு வேலையில் அமரும் வரை அறக்கட்டளை பலவிதமான  திறன் மேம்பாடு உதவிகளை செய்யும். 
• யோகா, புத்தக வாசிப்பு, மாணவரின் தனித்திறன் மேம்படத்தக்க பயிற்சிகள் இவை உரிய பயிற்சி நிலையம் மூலம் பயிற்றுவிக்கப்படும். 
• வேலை வாய்ப்பு தரக்கூடிய பயிற்சிகள் தரப்படும்.

8. அறக்கட்டளை யாரால் நடத்தப்படுகிறது? 

• வருங்கால சமூகம் நன்கு உருவாக வேண்டும் என்கிற எண்ணம் கொண்ட பல தன்னார்வலர்கள்  ஒருங்கிணைந்து இந்த  அறக்கட்டளையை நடத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இந்த நற்செயலில் யார் வேண்டுமென்றாலும் இணைந்து கொள்ளலாம்.
