In collaboration with the Ananda Chaitanya Foundation, our college Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology hosted a restorative two day yoga session on May 11&12, 2024 for faculties to find balance and serenity in the midst of their busy schedules.
Thiru.Thillai Senthil Prabhu, Vice President of MAK Controls Pvt Ltd and Founder of Ananda Chaitanya Foundation demonstrated to meditate that helped to establish a connection with visual perceptions, auditory experiences and physical sensations. He guided participants on a transformative journey of self-discovery through the ancient practice of yoga.
Additionally, pranayama exercises also taught to enhance respiratory efficiency and contribute to better stress management.
Each session was meticulously crafted to nurture not only the physical body but also the mind and spirit. The participants were empowered to embrace their unique strengths and limitations, fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness and acceptance.
On a mental level, this program fosters mindfulness, leading to increased concentration and a heightened sense of self-awareness.
Ultimately, this program’s success is reflected in the participants’ ability to integrate the principles of yoga into their daily lives, promoting a harmonious balance between mind, body, and spirit.
The outcomes of this programme are multifaceted, encompassing physical, mental, and emotional benefits.
Participants can expect to see improvements in flexibility, strength, and balance due to the regular practice of asanas.
We all faculty express our heartfelt thankfulness to Thiru.Thillai Senthil Prabhu who could spare his time amidst his busy schedule and bestowed a very different experience to feel by us.
